I am done for the Holidays and finished at Acadia! WOO HOO!
Exams went well and just waiting for one more mark. So far my marks are A- A A.
Spent a couple nights with my wonderful partner and enjoyed myself very much <3 We have spent a lot of conversation time talking about old cartoons from the 80's and 90's and he downloaded some of my favorites. Right now we are working on watching the Cybersix episodes. What a good story, I love it even more now going back through and watching it as an adult. Also brings back memories. I was 9 years old when that show first aired. Crazy how time flies.
Also haven't missed a day at the gym since I've been home. Still gaining some "holiday" weight with all the delicious treats (AKA stealing of Troy's christmas chocolates).

Had a lovely weekend home with my darling. I feel so at-ease around him and I am missing him greatly tonight.

We watched the Moosehead's game in Halifax on Friday and they actually played quite well! It was the first hockey game I have been out to see but I really enjoyed myself and we are hoping to go again soon. Then spent a lovely evening snuggling up in bed. Couldn't ask for a better night. Only bad part was the phone call we received at around 12. His little girl is sick and we are both worried, but thankfully she is getting better. All of his little ones have H1N1 and we are just hoping for the best. Sucks that I haven't had the chance to see them in so long, but hopefully being home next semester will give me more time.

Saturday was also interesting. Went to see that Paranormal Activity movie and we both just about pissed our pants. I find the reviews on it are either really good or really bad, but I personally really enjoyed how much footage it left up to the imagination. Those are the kind of films that get me. And come on, pretty sure their budget was like $11 000 or something to make it. Pretty good for LB. The only part I kind of found unnecessary and too unlikely was a part where a Ouiji board burst into flames. No other complaints, it scared the crap out of me.

Other then that, weekend was full of great conversations and snuggling. I'm really looking forward to being at home again. I've never missed anyone this much before. The days without him just aren't the same and don't have the same feel as the days I get to spend time wrapped in his arms. Rawr.

Well, unfortunately I am coming to the realization of what I am getting myself into with taking Science in school, and have decided it is not the path I want to take in life. Looking into finding a new approach to life, seeing as research isn't turning out to be what I really want to do, I went looking at new schools and found out that Dalhousie offers a school of social work. It is very hard to get into, but with a decent GPA and some volunteer work I should be able to get in after applying a few times. Also changing my program to sociology and transfering from Acadia to Dalhousie for next semester.

In the mean time I have some requirements to meet for courses. I need to retake some credits that won't transfer from Acadia (BOOOO) but on the good side that means I will only be taking 2 required courses at Dalhousie next semester and one introductory sociology course over the spring semester. Other than that I can work on a BA in sociology at Dal while waiting to be accepted into social work and avoid all the experimental research BS that I have been going through doing a Psychology degree. Sounds good.

3 midterms this week and feeling totally unproductive. Need a good work out to get motivated. Think I will go do that now.

Missing my Sweety a lot. Can't wait to spend more nights in his arms. Love you.

I am 20 years old today.

Yay!

My parents and my lover came up to visit and we had a lovely time. Went out for supper together as a big family. Feels so good to be with someone who clicks so well with my parents.
